Welcome!
Local Houses of Prayer is a movement of ordinary people who long to see God’s kingdom come and His will to be done on their particular piece of earth as in heaven.
Here’s a summary of our resources. You can download all these resources for free by clicking the links below. Please keep an eye on this page, as hard copies will be available for purchase by February 2025.
INTRODUCING LOCAL HOUSES OF PRAYER
This resource serves as an aid to those attending a Local Houses of Prayer Training event. We hope it helps you see your community and the people around you through a new lens and encourages you on your kingdom journey.
EXPLORING LHOP WAYMARKS
The term 'Waymarks' reminds us that we are all pilgrims on a journey of learning together. This resource is for those who have attended an LHOP Training and want to dig deeper into LHOP principles, like developing a kingdom lifestyle, becoming a people of blessing and stepping into mission.
LHOP FOR KIDS & FAMILIES
This resource is a great way to introduce kids to Local Houses of Prayer. It is structured in an easy-to-follow way for parents and kids' leaders. Our prayer is that this resource will help entire families to be transformed as they become active participants in God's story.
PREPARING SERVANTS
Preparing Servants is geared towards those who have started an LHOP in their own community and feel a fire burning in their heart to see things multiply beyond their area. We hope it's a valuable tool as you prayerfully and practically seek the growth of LHOP networks.
LHOP FOR THE WORKPLACE
This resource is aimed to equip those in the workplace to understand the calling and authority they have to take their place as part of a Royal Priesthood in their workplaces. We are excited to bring you this resource in collaboration with Transform Work. May you see God’s kingdom break out in your places of work in new and fresh ways as you engage with the simple LHOP principles.
EXPLORING GOSPEL MOVEMENTS
A Gospel movement is when the good news of Jesus spreads contagiously through a network of social relationships and followers of Jesus begin to multiply. Gospel movements—regardless of culture, place or era—have five essential components (prayer, discipleship, leader development, church forming and cultural transformation), all of which are necessary for a movement. This resource is for those engaged in LHOP to explore how these components can come together to radically impact whole towns, cities, and nations.
